We understand that there may be issues around asking about your income straight away. If you’re concerned, we’ve put together some questions and answers that may help.
I’m a freelancer, so I never know my income for certain.
Once you link your accounts, we will categorise your income into its own bucket.
Then, when you set up a budget Frollo will show you the last twelve months of your income and provide you with an average.
This should help define what you need to set up for the month, and you can always change it if you need to.
My partner gets paid weekly, but I get paid monthly.
If both your partner and you have linked your accounts, you should see that your income has been categorised for the past twelve months.
We’ll also provide you with an average of your income to help guide you.Use this as your base number, which can be changed whenever you want.
I don’t receive an income. What do I do next?
You may be living on savings, or you get relief from the government. While you may not categorise it as such, this is still a form of income provided to you.
All you need to do is enter your upper budget limit as your income, for example the amount you are paying yourself from your savings.
